Learning to understand the circumstances.
You learn to understand very early in your life that you can’t always be expecting from someone no matter who they are to you, especially the ones you love. I think that is what Adele is all about, learning to understand the circumstances. Her pain does not come from the ability to choose the man that she wants to be with, its the pain that she can’t be with the one she loves. I have to say that a lot of people do not get that.
Imagine all the socially accepted good looking people, I hear time and time again that their “pain” is to always have to reject suitors because they do not fancy them. Is it truly comparable to not having one to love when all they have to do is just choose the ones that they want to love and that is all.
There isn’t even a damage control, I hardly ever see or even hear a stutter of empathy. Everyone just wants to find their other half and some people have it easier than others.
There is a difference in learning that such things happen in your life and learning to understand why it did. The actions that follow will ultimately create that learning curve for you to be a better person or otherwise.
Sometimes you have to give in, don’t ask for anything, accept what you have and just be grateful. Do not ask or expect anything, just accept.
